writing: NEW! Instant VIP Author e-Coaching: Better Than Self Study, More Affordable Than Private Coaching

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 7:54 AM · No Comments No Notes

If you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, speaker, coach, consultant or visionary messenger, writing a book is the best way to set yourself apart and give you a tool of leverage. Not to mention more customers, media attention and Instant VIP status!

I literally wrote the book on becoming The Instant VIP author of your own business-boosting book, and I know that people have different needs.

My experience is that people swear up and down that they can buy an ebook or take a self-study program and accomplish their goal. Recently, Taylor, who bought an ebook, had this experience. Even though the ebook had good step-by-step instructions, checklists and other tools for success, she found that she simply couldn’t keep to her goals. Like so many people, she let life get in the way…again.

Reality is that she, like many people, isn’t as motivated without a more “formal” class or timeline. For whatever reason, most people simply will not set study appointments, due-dates and deadlines with themselves if there isn’t an outside force (like the semester calendar in college) to keep them on the straight and narrow.

Taylor knows she needs coaching but isn’t currently in a position to afford one-on-one private author coaching. Yet she truly needs some guidance and accountability.

I have good news for people like Taylor…and people like you. Because I’m always looking for ways to make things easier and better for YOU, you now have 3 choices for how to write a book with me. Each option is more interactive than ever.

Thanks to an exciting and fun private online classroom technology, you’ll never get just a download or a bunch of links. You have a true online writing course that inspires you to write your book! Activities and questions urge you to truly get that book written so you can see your name on the cover of a book!

Here’s what it’s like for you to work inside your private online coaching arena:

Some people want the do-it-yourself at home alone method. A truly self-motivated person who will create and stick to a deadline can write a business boosting book with the interactive self-study program. This self-study program itself is an upgrade from what I used to have available, thanks to the private training ground where you not only see your course materials (text, pictures, audios, & videos), but you also answer questions I put there for you Because taking action is how you succeed, and the questions beg a response. See the Instant VIP Auhor Interactive Self Study Program.

If you’re like Taylor and want something in between do it alone and private coaching, e-coaching is your affordable answer… Now you can experience author e-Coaching. This means you get the complete self-study program which guides you step by step through writing your book…

PLUS with e-coaching, each week for 12 weeks I coach you as you write your book using questions I’ve provided for you in the private and secure classroom. I’ll know exactly where you are in your process so I can help you get “unstuck” motivated and productive at a budget-friendly tuition. You’ll find out about it once you’re set up in the self study program.

So if you’ve wondered how to write a book that explodes your business, now you’ll have a new choice that is better than self-paced study and more affordable than private coaching.

And if you are a coach, trainer or consultant looking for a fabulous online training environment, the program I’m using is called JigsawBox, and you can try it for 2 weeks free. I really love JigsawBox.

writing: Profitable Storytelling for Business & Personal Growth 2010-09-02 18:57:51

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 6:57 PM · No Comments No Notes

What a cool week!

In the States we’re about to celebrate Labor Day, and I feel so blessed to have this labor of love as my work!

I LOVE writing and teaching more than anything else..

What about you?

So here’s the short version of all the news…

I’ve finished a new product, published a book and made some deals.

I think you’ll enjoy several of the bits of news I’m about to share.

This beautiful movie has already spread to 5 continents. I offer an exclusive gift only for those who  accept the gift at the end of

Now – the new product.

If you’re still telling yourself you want to write that book someday – today is that someday!

The Easy Write & Publish package teaches you 5 of the easiest, fastest ways to write a book

PLUS the fast free publishing method which I just used to put out a book in 7 days.

It’s available at a “no brainer” intro tuition of only $17 Through LABOR DAY 2010 ONLY.

My mastermind partner said I should charge $97 for it at least, but I want you to get successful and get published so I can include your success story!

Now – I don’t know if you remember this from a couple days ago, but one of my stories is featured for the big promo party for a bestselling book called Glory.

I wrote a story called “Allies” about a young Wolf.who wants to take on adult responsibilities. You get that story with Glory

Being an author brings very fun experiences to you.

Well, I decided that I have some visionary, suspenseful tales that need to see the light of day, so I published a book called  When Assassins and Allies COnspire.

You can pre-order it and be notified when it comes available (within the next 10 days or so)

I LOVE writing stories, and it’s great to publish them so YOU can enjoy them.

There’s more. It’s been a big week…

I’m writing inspirational pieces for someone who creates very special materials. What fun! He gave me some feedback on my first submissions, and we’ll be moving forward creating –I’ll tell you what soon – with most of them.

AND I’m consulting with a fabulous company to help the owner become a published author.

And I’ve met some of the most amazing people this week, like Nicola Bird, the creator of this fabulous system called Jigsaw Box that I’m starting to use for my coaching and other products. http://asktsl.com/jigsaw.

Check out the review of Jigsaw Box on this blog

There’s more but that’s enough for now.

It’s good to connect with you.

Share your news and your successes with me below, OK?

writing: Review: Jigsaw Box Interactive Product Creation

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010 9:41 AM · No Comments No Notes

There are so many webinars and teleseminars these days and many of them blur into the background. But recently one captured my attention. As I watched, I got more and more excited.

As someone who offers mentoring, classes and info products, one of the saddest truths is that about 90% of people buy a package from someone and do absolutely nothing with it. I suppose it’s because when you make a purchase, your brain tells you that you have the solution now, so you don’t take

action.

You swear that you’ll do whatever the self-paced study program or ebook is about, but chances are it languishes forgotten on your hard drive.

I’ve been wanting an online interactive training tool, but the one with which I am familiar is sterile, remote and hard to use. That online environment is a pain in the behind to use for creating a product or course, because you have to flip back and forth between various areas, and you can’t rearrange things either. Plus on the client side, it’s really not enticing. Oh, and the one I know doesn’t let the mentor/trainer brand it in any way. You only get this sterile, cold, YUCK background.

I wanted something better.

I want a flexible interactive arena that empowers me to create various online writing courses, mentoring or coaching programs, and even information products that help you the customer interact with and use the materials in a fun and easy way.

Here is my wish list for an online interactive training environment.

  • Ability to include audio’s, videos, hunks of html code, and text easily.
  • Ability to upload materials, such as work sheets, graphs, documents, etc.for the client.
  • Interactive so the client can answer questions right there, not in a downloadable workbook.
  • Easy for me to use with one area for me to create a module or a course (or coaching / mentoring program).
  • Has my logo on it and my branding
  • Ability to change the background color.
  • Ability to adjust font size
  • Spell check
  • Ability to edit all aspects of the module even in a live course
  • Affordable
  • Scalable
  • Ability to formulate various packages without re-inputting the materials
  • Ability for client to export their questions and answers for continued use on their computers.

So imagine my glee when I discovered Jigsaw Box! A British coach developed this program so she could deliver her services without using so much of her time. This tool gives me 95% of my wish list. And with a 2–week free trial, I was able to try it out at no risk.

Jigsaw box lets you create multimedia modules. You can include whatever materials you want, including uploaded documents. Then, like a jigsaw puzzle, you can create various packages, selecting the modules you want as if you’re choosing items on a menu.

One example of Jigsaw Box in action…

I’ve already made sales on the first product I created with Jigsaw Box. It’s Easy Write & Publish Your Book. I show you the 5 fastest, easiest ways for how to write a book and publish it fast

See how easy it is to create a module with an article that I “dressed up” using the editor inside Jigsaw Box. I added a few questions, then included a video. Watch this…

I had a blast turning articles I’ve submitted into directories into interactive teaching modules with questions for you to answer. Since the materials were already done, it only took me a couple of minutes to fancy them up a bit and add some questions.

This takes an article and makes it a valuable tool for you because you can incorporate the teaching into your life.

The best part

There are 2 “best parts” of this tool.

One is how infinitely malleable the program is. You can move modules around and create whatever packages you want. Plus there is no limit to number of clients or size of package.

The other best thing is that you can create scalable programs with this tool. Scalability is important for your business growth.

If all you had was 1–on-1 coaching, you only have so many hours in the day and maybe you’d like to have a LIFE too. Now with Jigsaw Box all your training materials are there in an interactive format, so you can offer a mid-range product to hundreds or thousands of people. This vastly increases your income potential.

Jigsaw Box gets my 5–star recommendation. What a fabulous tool! It is easy to use.

Improvements I hope to see

As I mentioned, I got almost my whole wish list with Jigsaw box. Here are the enhancements I hope will come forth in updates of the program.

  • Ability to edit questions after a program is live.
  • Ability for clients to easily export their questions and answers to their computer.

I’m thrilled with this amazing solution. Also, I have to say that Jigsaw is fun for me to create in.

Resource

First off, do yourself a favor. Before grabbing your free trial, think of one of your electronic info products that you’d love to make interactive. Maybe it’s an ebook you are offering. Start thinking of how you can break that ebook into modules and what questions or activities you can add to it to increase the value for your customers.

Get your 2–week free trial of Jigsaw Box. Then put your ebook-turned-interactive course into it. You can even start selling it before the whole thing is ready. Just get the first couple modules there and your customers will have something to start with immediately. Then you can add the other modules. So you can pay for your affordable membership with sales you make during the free trial..

Now if you want to know the 5 fastest ways for how to write a book –  pick up my Easy Write & Publish Your Book program..

writing: Powerful Storytelling: This Tale Touches Lives 100+ Years Later – Acres of Diamonds

Sunday, August 29th, 2010 10:11 AM · No Comments No Notes

Life gets hectic, and humanity has an amazing
ability to always be searching for something far
away.

Yet there are more resources, connections, and
abundant good things around you.

A fellow figured this out because of his own
journey, back in the 19th century, and his story
still touches lives today.

One of the most interesting Americans who lived
in the 19th century was a man by the name of
Russell Herman Conwell. He was born in 1843.

Dr. Conwell founded Temple University, a college for
the underprivileged who couldn’t afford higher education.
Remember – we’re back over 100 years…

What I find most interesting is how he raised the
money to start this university and turn his dream into
reality. His dream coming true touched millions of lives.
Way back then, he told a story that raised $6 million.

By telling the following true story, Dr. Conwell
attracted enormous crowds allowing him to raise over
$6 million…which is more than he needed.

This short movie is based on his true story. It is a
reminder that opportunity does not just come
along – it is there all the time – if only you see it.

I wonder how many lives this story has touched so far…?

Enjoy Acres of Diamonds

Be sure to share it with friends and family. They’ll
thank you for it!

AND –> Don’t spoil the fun, but after you watch the
movie find out what diamond mine this farm came to be!

writing: FREE – 3 Easiest Ways for How to Write a Book Writing Contest, Challenge

Saturday, July 17th, 2010 11:42 AM · No Comments No Notes

Want to get templates & training on the 3 easiest ways for how to write a book this summer?

I’ve coached a lot of people to write a profitable book, and one thing more than anything else tends to stop you.

here are the top 3:

3. You WANT to write a book but it’s a big nebulous mess and you don’t know how to write a book easily.

3. You WANT to write a book but keep letting life get in the way…as if life’s ever going to say, “Oh, she’s going after a dream so let’s push the whole world aside for her.”

1. You just don’t believe you can write a book.

I know you can do anything when you have the right mindset and the right system. I’m mostly blind, and I do just about everything differently from how you do it – and I don’t ever say that I can’t accomplish a goal.

So ow about this… I’ll give you the right tools, and I CHALLENGE you to a duel with your own misconceptions about what’s possible for your life!

Prove to yourself that you really can start writing and finish by Labor Day. I’ll show you all the steps to write a book and teach you 3 easy ways (actually m ore…but you’ll discover that later) to do it.

Watch this:

I’ll show you the 3 easiest ways to write your book THIS SUMMER while still having a fun life and relax time – for FREE – plus templates and worksheets and so much more.

writing: Please Help! I Need Your Opinion for Cover of The Peace Seed

Friday, January 22nd, 2010 12:47 AM · No Comments No Notes

I have written a book that is soon to be published, and I am sharing a portion of proceeds from sales of The Peace Seed with 10 Million Clicks. This is a book about peace through storytelling.

Publishing a Book
How do you bring a book into the world? Even before a book hits the shelves, there is a lot more to do than simply write a book. You have to spread the word about it, get people interested and get them involved. And in terms of the publishing process, you have to get the cover designed, copyright, ISBN, bar code, figure out the retail price, set up a blog, set up an autoresponder, create some free gifts and more.
I’m working on 3 books simultaneously, which is interesting, fun, and makes for some long days. But 2 are almost ready! The Peace Seed will come out soon
That’s where your opinion comes in… Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Please take a look at the images below and let me know which image or images you like best. Say something about your reason if you desire.

writing: Storytelling for Business: Turning Everyday Events into Powerful Teaching Stories

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 8:47 AM · No Comments No Notes

Can you look at the world through the eyes of a storyteller? I say yes, and in so doing, you uncover stories absolutely everywhere.

Storytelling for business is a powerful human connection tool you can start using right away. My chickens teach marketing lessons all the time, for those who have eyes to see them, and since I do, I can share their “wisdom” with you. When I am at a restaurant or out running errands, there are stories everywhere.

Here is an example.  In the video below, I’m sharing a story about my chickens. They have some things to share…

We have 12 nest boxes for the hens to use for egg-laying. Several of them liked the corner rather than the boxes, and they would line up in order to have a go at the corner – even though there were 10 or 11 empty nests waiting to receive their precious eggs.

So even though they had abundance all around them, the hens insisted they HAD to wait for the corner. They wouldn’t partake of the abundant nests around them.

Are YOU making a similar mistake? Are you so convinced that you have to do it this way or you have to wait for good things to happen that you fail to notice ample opportunities around you?

That is how you can take an everyday event … well for me that’s everyday. Your examples will probably be less rural … and turn it into a teaching story you can use for storytelling for business.

Resoruces

The Storytelling Templates(TM) Page shows you several “recipes” or templates for h ow to tell a powerful story. Some will be about storytelling for business and others will be about connecting through storytelling.

The Story Power DVD teaches you how to connect with anyone through the power of storytelling. This is from a live seminar, and it is a 90-minute jam-packed seminar. You’ll receive the handout participants had and a couple other bonus gifts.

writing: Thankful to Be Alive: Christa Brelsford Lost Her Leg in Haiti Earthquake but Keeps Her Smile

Friday, January 15th, 2010 1:02 PM · No Comments No Notes

Scenes of devastation and misery in earthquake-torn Haiti predominate  And yet you can also see a young woman’s courage and strength. Imagine how you would respond if you were in Haiti, an earthquake hit, and you got trapped inside your home. And imagine you lost part of your leg.

How’s your mindset?

Would you bounce back adn feel grateful to be alive like Christa Belsford? She’s a college student from Alaska who was in Haiti teaching literacy.

She could easily have decided to tell herself the story that she has seen so much pain and suffering and that she has lost her leg. Instead, she chooses to tell herself a much different story.

“I’ll still get to live my life. There are a lot of people in Haiti who won’t,” Brelsford told TODAY’s Matt Lauer from a wheelchair in Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. (from Today Show coverage)

Storytelling empowers you to make sense of t your life and put a meaning to what happens. Christa chooses to see that what she lost is so little compared to many survivors of the Haiti earthquake.

Here’s her story from this morning’s Today Show:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

She inspires me. So many people whine and complain about every little th ing, and she wears a huge smile through her road of trials. I would love to talk with her about her mindset, because she has so much to share. She’s right. It’s not all that difficult to get around wihtout a foot compared with what might have happened.

The story of your life is yours to tell, and you get to choose. Will you see the triumph in the midst of tragedy? Can you feel gratitude and joy for what you have even in the midst of a loss?

Christa Belsford spoke about how fortunate she feels to have good healthcare, which so many people lack.

When I had frozen piples last week because of the bitter cold snap, my friend Scott asked if I were angry. Angry? No, that had never occurred to me. I felt so grateful that I have a home and heat. That was such a minor inconvenience. It could have been much worse. After all, I did not lose everything in an earthquake.

I am grateful for the Today Show for sharing Christa Belsford with me so I can share her story of strength wiht you. What perspective does her story bring to your life? Are you revising your story – updating your mindset?

I especially love the “Avalanche of Appreciation.”  What you do  is start naming things for which you feel appreciation. Get into the feeling as well, and soon you’ll find so many things going RIGHT in your life.

And my favorite program is one that will bring sanity to your life. It is Mark Joyner’s free Simpleology daily program. You’ll take charge of your time, money and energy and thus change your expectation and mindset.
