Glee’s dancing ‘Cheerio’ Brittany Perry-Russell slides into a lead role in the upcoming film Honey 2!

On the heels of “Glee” and “CSI: NY,” Brittany Perry-Russell has danced her way into Universal’s Honey 2. As the breakout character Lyric, Perry-Russell embraces the opportunity to combine her love of acting and her passion for dance.

“Lyric is a very complex young woman. She has a tough exterior yet she is very vulnerable. She eats, sleeps and breathes dance. She is driven, and her energy brings the heat to the HD Crew,” says Perry-Russell.

Not entirely unlike the character she portrays in the film, the charismatic actress literally crashed the audition in order to read for the “Honey 2” producers. Without an appointment or even a pass to enter the studio lot, Perry-Russell charmed her way into the room where she went on to outshine the competition for the role of Lyric. The character was subsequently developed into lead status.
Perry-Russell made the transition from lead dancer to leading lady in “Stompin” as Queen B Sorority Girl Julia. She went on to portray a tough as nails lingerie football player on “CSI: NY.” On “Glee,” she has a recurring role as a Cheerio and has appeared in numerous episodes of the popular series – including The Power of Madonna.

writing: The Amazing Kreskin – Sep 03,2010

Friday, September 3rd, 2010 12:30 PM · No Comments No Notes

Buck Howard who? I’m talking to the Amazing Kreskin, damn it!

The Amazing Kreskin has, for more than six decades, dramatized the unique facets of the human mind… his own. Born in Montclair, New Jersey, it was during the childhood game “hot and cold” that Kreskin’s remarkable ability to find hidden objects emerged. His ability to read thoughts expanded, and by his teens he also became nationally recognized in the United States as “The World’s Youngest Hypnotist,” resulting in his collaborating in psychological clinical studies extending into the realm of Parapsychology and the Power of Suggestion.

Kreskin now offers the sum of $1 MILLION DOLLARS to anyone who can prove that he uses secret hidden electronic devices to aid in the accomplishment of his telepathic abilities.

Finally, through the years, Kreskin has received international recognition for extraordinary predictions often dealing with world affairs. Regarding the US Presidential Election in 2008, he logged the results with a written statement made 11 months earlier, on December 6, 2007.

In 2009, the film The Great Buck Howard, starring Tom Hanks and John Malkovich, announced at the end that the inspiration for the key character of the screenplay was The Amazing Kreskin, the character played by Malkovich.

The Amazing World of Kreskin TV series can now be viewed on Hulu.com.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Margaret McPoyle — actress Thesy Surface — gives Mr. Media a big wet one!

Actress Thesy Surface (pronouncednlike “Daisy” with a “T”) endures hours in the make-up chair to create the unibrowed, lip-licking, deaf-mute Margaret McPoyle for the hit series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” airing on Comedy Central this summer.

Margaret McPoyle, the sister of the bad boy McPoyles, often finds herself in the thick of things when her brothers cause havoc for ‘The Gang’ (Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, Kaitlin Olson, Rob McElhenney and Danny DeVito).

The new fan favorite Margaret McPoyle will resurface again in the all new season six airing later this fall on FX.

Thesy is excited to return as the ‘fugly’ McPoyle, adding “working on Sunny is like taking a hike in Cracktown…but a fun Cracktown.”

The British-born actress has been building a solid reputation in Hollywood over the last couple years. Her previous credits include appearances in the Travel Channels “Facets of the World,” Discovery & TLC’s “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant,” and a series of notable indie films. Up next, Thesy is taking her career a step farther by creating her own project, a dark-comedy television pilot about a young record executive and his haunting aunt.
